SPRINGLIKE STORMS COMING

It has been a beautiful but chilly day. Anytime we can get sunshine makes things just seem …better. The combination of low relative humidity and gusty northwest winds will lead to an elevated fire danger this afternoon. The winds should ease up some this evening so strong radiational cooling is expected. A hard freeze will be likely with lows in the lower to middle 20s tonight and Sunday night. A warm up begins on Monday. Several disturbances will move across or near the region this week. Resulting in the possibility for off and on rain showers starting late Tuesday all the way through Friday. Our first chance of rain showers arrives during the latter half of Tuesday into the first half of Wednesday. With warm southwesterly flow through much of the week, highs are expected to climb from the 50s on Tuesday into the 60s Wednesday and mid-70s by Thursday. There is the potential for heavy rainfall and a few thunderstorms Thursday night and Friday. Strong to severe storms cannot be completely ruled out.

A Thought: I have learned to accept my defeats with my head up and my eyes open and looking ahead. We have all had to learn some painful lessons. We are all recovering from something…either a mistake, a loss, or some other misfortune. Really, it looks to me like all of life is a process of recovery that never seems to end. So we have to find ways to pick ourselves up and move through it all. There are happy times and good memories out there. We will heal and every sunrise announces that better days will come. We must have faith and be patient with ourselves. Onward and Upward my friends.
