The National Weather Service continues to be concerned about the possibility of severe weather late Friday afternoon into the evening.
NWS Paducah Meteorologist Derrick Snyder says the main concerns are tornadoes, hail, and gusty winds.

Snyder adds everyone needs to remain weather vigilant Friday.

He stresses finding a safe spot before the storms hit if you do not feel safe where you are.

A Wind Advisory has been issued for western Kentucky from 1:00 this afternoon to 1:00 Saturday morning. Southwesterly wind gusts could reach up to 50 MPH, outside of severe thunderstorms.
