Jimmy Smiley, 73, of Caldwell County

Graveside services for 73-year-old Jimmy Dale Smiley, of Caldwell County, will be Thursday morning, May 11, at 11:00 at Cross Roads Cemetery in Princeton.
Morgan’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born September 25, 1949, in Caldwell to the late Noel and Glendola Jenkins Smiley. Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman and known as a jokester by his family and friends, always being ready to help when needed. Jimmy was there to listen and lend advice in his own way. One of the many things he loved to do outside was riding 4-wheelers with his friends and those close to him. He farmed all of his life, in the early years growing tobacco and raising hogs. Later in his farming years he became a cattleman, making cattle his priority, and was a long-time member of the Caldwell/Lyon Cattleman’s Association.
He is survived by sons, Justin (Alaina) Smiley of Hopkinsville, Jerry (Natalie) Lacy of Eddyville; daughter, Missy (Roy) Crayne of Princeton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cross Roads Cemetery, Craig Smiley, 1009 W. Main Street, Princeton, KY 42445.
