Friends Of George Coon Library Provide Funding For Summer Reading Programs

The Friends of George Coon Public Library is making it possible for the library to host its summer reading programs this year.
Kathy Svoboda, with the organization, tells Your News Edge they have provided the nearly $6,000 needed to host the programs.

Additionally, the Friends of George Coon Public Library helps fund Caldwell County’s Imagination Library program.

The Imagination Library program is open to any youth in Caldwell County that meets the age requirement.

Funds raised for the Friends of George Coon Public Library come from those in the community. If you would like to donate to the program, you can call or text Kathy Svoboda at (270) 339-6937.
