Benton Woman Charged With Possession Of Drugs

A Benton woman was charged with possession of drugs after she was found passed out at a gas station in Kuttawa Thursday night.
Lyon County Sheriff’s Deputy Aaron O’Leary says he was called to the Hucks Travel Center for a female who was passed out inside the business.
29-year-old Miranda Gerald was reportedly located and found to have an active warrant out of Marshall County for failure to appear on a shoplifting case.
O’Leary says she was also found to have opiates and drug paraphernalia in her belongings. She was arrested and charged with possession of opiates and drug paraphernalia.
