An isolated thunderstorm cannot be ruled out mainly over the southern half of the region this afternoon. But most areas will remain dry. After a dry cold front moves through on Wednesday, high pressure will build into the area. Winds will shift to the north-northeast starting Wednesday night through the weekend. Highs today and Wednesday will be in the lower to middle 80s. Highs Thursday through Sunday will be in the middle 70s to around 80 degrees. Cooler temperatures and gradually decreasing humidity will give us amazingly pleasant weather. The cool northeast winds and low humidity will last through Sunday. High pressure will remain in control of our weather through the holiday weekend. Some small chances of showers and thunderstorms will return to western portions of the area by Monday afternoon. Temperatures will warm back in the lower to middle 80s Monday.

A Thought: Move forward with your life. Maybe you can afford to wait. Maybe for you there’s a tomorrow. Maybe for you there’s one thousand tomorrows, or three thousand, or ten, so much time you can bathe in it, roll around in it. So much time you can waste it. But for some of us there’s only today. And the truth is, you never really know. Let your life reflect the faith you have in God. Fear nothing and pray about everything. It is not true that people stop pursuing dreams because they grow old, they grow old because they stop pursuing dreams. As for me…it’s amazing what a few hours’ sleep will do for a person. Ready to conquer the world again. But first…I need my Cheerios.
