Many Hoptown Hoppers players are in town and ready to play ball.
The season begins this week, with the annual Meet the Hoppers event Wednesday at Casey Jones Distillery in Hopkinsville.
Board member Bruce Smiley tells Your News Edge that everyone is invited to attend the event that begins at 5:30 PM.
Smiley says practice will start Monday.
The first Hoppers game this season will occur in Bowling Green against the Pistons. On Friday, the team will play at home against the Paducah Chiefs.
