Princeton Rotary Club Honors Scholarship Recipient And Prepares For Golf Tournament

The Princeton Rotary Club honored a 2023 scholarship recipient during its weekly meeting Tuesday.
Emma Peake shared her appreciation for the scholarship and informed the club about her plans to continue her education. She is grateful for the local organization and the support they give the community.

Rachel McClung and Sydney McKinney also received rotary scholarships but were unable to attend the meeting.
The Princeton Rotary Club is actively preparing for its annual golf tournament. The tournament will be held Friday, June 9th, at the Princeton Golf Course. They’re inviting teams to ‘Hit The Course For A Cause’ with Princeton Rotary President Al Brunelle saying proceeds will fund the club’s ‘Build-A Bed’ program.

There are several ways to get involved with the fundraising effort in addition to playing golf, according to Amanda Dossett, the tournament chairman.

Stacy Boone explained they will have cooked chickens to sell at the tournament. Additionally, the club and the Princeton Optimist Club are working together to allow the public to secure a chicken during the Optimist Radio Auction to be picked up on the day of the tournament.

For more information, call Amanda Dossett at (270) 519-0996. The Princeton Rotary Club meets weekly on Tuesdays at noon at the Majestic House.
