Fredonia Hosts Thunder In The Valley (w/PHOTOS)


Buddy Rogers Ballpark in Fredonia was filled with residents from across the area Monday night for the Thunder in the Valley Forth of July celebration.
The night was filled with food, music, inflatables, and a massive fireworks show. Presley Lamm, one of the organizers for the event, said there were hundreds of people already gathered in the park before the activities began.

click to download audioIn addition to the food and fireworks, there was a special time to honor veterans for their service to our nation. Veterans and active duty service personnel were asked to come to the front of the field to help hold a huge flag displayed while patriotic music was being sung. The flag was provided by Woodmen Life and representative Dana Dyer is glad they were able to be a part of the program.
