A Crofton man was arrested Thursday morning on a Caldwell County Arrest Warrant and now faces charges of theft by deception and receiving stolen property.
The Princeton Police Department reported the charges stem from an incident on April 23, 2023, when the victim told detectives their trailer, stolen from Christian County, was listed for sale on Facebook by a person who lived in Princeton.
The investigation revealed the person who had the trailer listed for sale on Facebook had proof he had purchased the trailer from 38-year-old Jamie Bean for $400. The trailer was returned to the owner.
Bean is lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
