Willard Barry “Brown” Copeland, age 68, of Princeton, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023.
Brown was born on September 11, 1954, in Caldwell County to his late father, Walter Scott, and mother, Shirley Ann Copeland Gray.
He is survived by his daughter, Felisha Short of Louisville; two grandchildren, Robyn Short, and Copelyn Short; two sisters, Zelda Scott of Princeton, and Betty Gray of Paducah; two brothers, Brent Gray of Princeton, and Zach Scott of Atlanta, Georgia; special aunt, Rose Copeland; two sibling-like cousins, Melba McGowan and Ricky Copeland; and best-friend who was like a brother, Dicky Pettigrew.
In addition to his parents, Brown was preceded in death by two sisters, Betsy Gray, and Zola Heyward; one brother, William Bruce “Slim” Gray.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Copeland officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
