Due to equipment scheduling issues, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesman Keith Todd with District 1, says the start of the asphalt paving project along KY 1917/Wolf Creek Road in eastern Crittenden County has been delayed until Wednesday.
Todd says the paving on Wolf Creek Road will be from Roberts Road extending northward to Providence Road, a distance of just under 1.5 miles.
To help speed the paving process, he says KY 1917/Wolf Creek Road will be closed to through-traffic while the work zone is active. Local residents and emergency vehicles will be provided access.
According to Todd, the paving project is expected to take about three days to complete, weather permitting.
