Caldwell School Board Honors Student Achievements And September Tiger Award Recipients


The Caldwell County Board of Education met Monday night in the library of the Caldwell County Primary School.
The meeting opened up featuring a group of second-grade students who gave a presentation from the Readers Theater they had during Constitution Week.
In other action, Superintendent Dr. Jeremy Roach presented certificates to Allison White and Elijah Thomas for their accomplishments during the Junior Beta Club Convention this past summer.

Dr. Roach also announced the Tiger Award recipients for September were the Attendance Clerks at each of the schools. He noted they had been nominated by Director of Pupil Personnel Laura Lee White. White expressed her appreciation for Holly Thompson, Meagan Stalion, Lisa Vilt, and Kayla Morris.

The board then approved various items including a food service procurement plan, a working budget for FY 24, a change order for the elementary school renovation, and a maintenance plan contract.
The next meeting of the Caldwell County Board of Education will be Monday, October 16, at 6:00 p.m.
