Patricia “Pat” Smith, age 86, of Lyon County, passed away at her home on Monday, September 25, 2023. She was a homemaker and a member of Glenn’s Chapel Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Keating, Portage, IN; three sons, Frankie (Amy) Smith, Walkerton, IN; Chuck (Dawn) Smith, Hobart, IN, and Luke (Connie) Smith, Eddyville, KY; four sisters, Ethelyne (Jimmy) Riley, Fredonia, KY; Mary Lucy (Jimmy Don) Dycus, Chesterton, IN; Linda Dyer, Eddyville, KY; Sandra (Grady) White, Eddyville, KY; one brother, Johnny (Deanna) Bennett, Texas; five grandchildren, Abby Hinsch, Maggie Smith, Luke Smith, Jaclyn Cantrell, Amanda Viator; two great-grandchildren, Charlie Hinsch and Maci Lane Campbell and several nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Franklin “Frankie” Smith, parents, Ray and Helen Parish Bennett, two sisters, Judy Cliff and Lorrine Beyers; two brothers, Bobby Bennett, and Charles Bennett.
Visitation will be Friday, September 29, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Marty Robertson officiating. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery.
