Hilda Clift June, age 93, of Chicago, IL, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at The Admiral at the Lake in Chicago.
Hilda was born on November 11, 1929, in Detroit, MI to the late Reece Clift, Sr. and Edyth Stevenson Clift. Hilda was a homemaker along with owning and managing real estate. She enjoyed playing the piano and needlepoint. Hilda loved spending time with her family. She attended Grosse Point Presbyterian Church.
Hilda is survived by two grandchildren; Julie (Evan) Jajn of Chicago and Alexander (Wilson Henao) Smith of Virginia; two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Lillian Jahn; one sister, Sharon Martha Polger.
In addition to her parents, Hilda is preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley June; daughter, Michele Smith; son John June II; brother, Reece Clift, Jr.
Visitation for Hilda June will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Graveside services will follow at 2:30 PM at Clift Cemetery in Caldwell County.
Morgan’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
