Theoden Hermosillo, 4, of Oak Grove

Theoden Joe Hermosillo, age 4, of Oak Grove, Kentucky passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 1, 2023.
Theo was born a twin, making his entrance just before his brother and best friend, Austin Edward Jonas “AJ” on December 22, 2018 in Louisville, Kentucky. They were born to loving parents, Austin Joe Hermosillo and Katelynn Jeannette McKinney. Being a twin, Theo and his brother AJ were inseparable and learning to navigate life’s playground together. Theo was confident, caring, silly, loving, playful and always so happy. His sense of humor and contagious laugh kept everyone laughing and loving his energy. His presence completed the family of four and will be remembered daily by all.
In addition to his parents and brother, Theo is survived by his maternal grandparents, Peggy and Edward McKinney of Kuttawa; paternal grandparents, Angie Coomer of Grand Rivers and Jesse Hermosillo of Ballard County; maternal great-grandmother, Billie McKinney of Kuttawa; paternal great-grandmother, Jewell Coomer of Grand Rivers; aunt, Michelle Suleman and husband, Tony, of Buffalo Grove, Illinois; uncles, Brian McKinney and wife, Jeannie, of Eddyville, Dylan Hermosillo of Benton; and many more who loved him greatly.
Theo was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Donald McKinney; paternal great-grandparents, Newt and Minni Springs.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 12 pm to 2:00 pm at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville, KY.  Funeral service will be at the funeral home Sunday, October 8, 2023, at 2:00 pm with Bro. Bill Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Lyon County.
