Princeton Man Charged With Attempted Rape, Sexual Assault of Juvenile

A 41-year old Princeton man has been arrested after he allegedly sexually assaulted and attempted to rape a juvenile.
Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison reports officers responded to a residence on North Seminary Street for a sexual assault complaint involving a juvenile shortly after 9:00 Tuesday night.
According to police, an investigation revealed that a male subject lured a 14-year old juvenile behind the residence and sexually assaulted her. Caldwell County Sheriff deputies located the suspect matching the description given by the victim and witnesses.
The man was taken into custody and charged with first-degree attempted rape incapable of consent, first-degree sexual abuse, and first-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, 2nd offense.
