Louise Stromatt, age 92, of Princeton, passed away on October 11, 2023, at Princeton Health and Rehab.
Louise was born on February 24, 1931, in Caldwell County to the late Ernest C. and Nora Bell Nelson Ray. Lousie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked as a cafeteria worker for eighteen years at the Caldwell County Middle School. Louise was a member of Northside Baptist Church and kept the nursery for more than fifty years.
Louise is survived by three daughters, Faye Oliver, Brenda (Charlie) Clark and Jeanette (Rickey) Darby; five grandchildren, Mac Clark, Nick Clark, Catherine Darby, T.J. Oliver, Kamisha Lane; two great-grandchildren, Haley Clark and Katie Anne Lane.
In addition to her parents, Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Jeff W. Stromatt; three brothers, Charles Ray, Clinton Ray and Edwin Ray; son-in-law, Jimmy Oliver.
Private services were held.
Morgan’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
