A Marion man, charged with shoplifting in Princeton, will soon be extradited to Tennessee to face a felony theft charge.
Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison says 27-year old Johnathan Suggs was issued a citation charging him with shoplifting around 4:45 Tuesday afternoon. He says the charges stem from an investigation where Miller and a female had entered Walmart on September 13 and then left the store without paying for the merchandise.
According to Allison, a records check indicated that Suggs had an extraditable warrant for a felony theft out of Robinson County, Tennessee. He says Suggs was subsequently arrested as a fugitive after Tennessee confirmed they would extradite him.
Princeton Police also issued a citation to 20-year old Ashlynn Miller, of Marion, charging her with shoplifting.
