Princeton Library Announces Upcoming Programs and Events


Despite the limited availability of programs and activities at the George Coon Public Library in November due to the ongoing upstairs renovation project, the library will continue to provide a selection of its most popular programs and activities.
Rebecca Poole, with programming at the library, says they will still have some exciting and enjoyable activities specifically catered to children throughout the month of November.


click to download audioFurthermore, Poole announced that The Friends of the Library will be hosting their annual Election Day luncheon on November 7, with the aim of generating funds for the organization.


click to download audioShe stated that the funds raised by The Friends of the Library will be used to acquire additional items needed at the local library.


click to download audioAccording to Poole, there will be a Story Hour for young children on Tuesday, November 14.

click to download audioFurthermore, Poole mentions that Bingo Night, which is open to all ages, is scheduled for November 14 and is becoming increasingly popular.

The George Coon Public Library is located at 114 South Harrison Street in Princeton. The library is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon.
