Bobby Burchett, age 76, of Fredonia, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024, at his home.
He was born November 8, 1947, in Lyon County to the late, Jess and Ludie Fowler Burchett. He was a member of the Fredonia Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Bobby retired from the State of Kentucky as a warehouse supervisor for the Kentucky State Penitentiary. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Franklin Burchett; son, James (Amy) Caraway of Princeton and sister, Betty Pyle; grandsons, Cody ( Sarah) Caraway and Colyn Caraway and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patsy Kinslow and three brothers, Royce, Richard and Roscoe Burchett.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2023, at Morgan’s Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 14, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Rev. Marc Bell officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery in Caldwell County.
