An Eddyville man has been charged with allegedly stealing fishing tackle from a dock at Lake Barkley on Valentine’s Day.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office arrested 54-year old Terry Fiser around 5:20 Tuesday afternoon, February 20, on a complaint warrant from Lyon District Court charging him with theft over $500 and burglary.
According to law enforcement, the charges stem from February 14 in connection to a theft and burglary that occurred at Lake Barkley. Fiser was reportedly captured on surveillance video accessing a boat dock while on Lake Barkley in his bass boat and allegedly stole fishing tackle from the dock before a DUI arrest.
Sheriff White said his office and the Eddyville Police Department executed a search warrant at Fiser’s home on Wellsley Way and were able to recover the stolen property.
