The Cave-in-Rock Ferry is open after being temporarily closed due to high winds Wednesday. The ferry resumed service about 6:15 p.m., CDT.
The Cave-in-Rock Ferry is open and operating on the regular schedule.
Due to high winds, the Cave-in-Rock Ferry temporarily halted service at 9:30 on Wednesday morning.
District 1 spokesman Keith Todd from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says winds were reported out of the west at 15 mph with gusts to 29 mph, with the forecast indicating winds will remain elevated throughout the day.
