Clinton Peek, a devoted caretaker, family member, and avid sports enthusiast, passed away on April 4, 2024 at the age of 70 .
Born on November 18, 1953 in Princeton, KY. Clinton was the beloved son of Opal Knight and Mark Peek. He was a dedicated caregiver, selflessly tending to his mother’s needs with unwavering love and commitment.
A true sports fan, Clinton was a fully committed UK Wildcat fan and found immense joy in following MLB, NFL, WWE Wrestling, and passionately supporting the Caldwell County Tigers. Whether cheering from the stands or following games fervently, he brought enthusiasm to every sporting event.
Beyond watching and attending sports, Clinton cherished moments spent with family and friends. He also enjoyed working at Princeton Hosiery Mill and Bremner Food Products until retirement. Clinton was also a member of Northside Baptist Church and graduate of Caldwell County High School Class of 1971.
Clinton leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication, deeply missed by his cherished family, friends, and community. Though he may have left this world, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have shared in his journey.
He is survived by two sisters, Fran Beckman of Alsip, IL, Nina Jones of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
Clinton was preceded in death by his parents, Opal Knight and Mark Peek; two sisters, Sue Faughn and Jan Thomas.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Morgan’s Funeral Home with burial to follow in Groves Chapel Cemetery in Tiline.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
