James Leonard Pendleton, age 62, of Fredonia, passed away April 6, 2024, at Rivers Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa.
James was born April 22, 1961, to the late Robert Mack and Carolyn Elmore Pendleton. He was of the Baptist faith and in his spare time enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Carla Jean Pendleton; daughters, Dana (Brandon) Dobson, Tina Pendleton both of Bowling Green; step-daughters, Cretia Blanton and Haley Thorpe both of Princeton; step-son, Jeremy Hillyard of Kuttawa; grandchildren, Michaella (Jacob) Callahan, Schuyler (Tyler) Elliott, Mia (Ryan) Fallis, Diamond McDonald, Alexander Pendleton, Dakota Loafman, Emma Loafman, Cameron Loafman, Callen Hillyard, Elliot Hillyard and Riggs Hillyard; four great-grandchildren
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Pendleton and Janett Foster.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
