Bruce Mallory, 68, of Caldwell County

Bruce Mallory, a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024, in his beloved home state of Kentucky. Born on January 18, 1956, in Caldwell County, Bruce’s life was a vibrant tapestry of love, creativity, and dedication that touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Bruce’s journey through life was shared with his loving wife of 45 years, Christy Glass Mallory, who stood by him as a beacon of love and partnership. Together, they raised a beautiful family, including their daughters Jenny (Martin) Wilson, Whitney (Joe) Williams, and Morgan Sue Gray Mallory, all of Princeton, KY. His legacy continues through his grandchildren Emma and Marjorie Grace Watson, Olivia, Mallory, Reagan, Ella, Beckett, Emersyn Williams, Shelby Mallory, Aiden Lena Gray, Trinity, and Derek Wilson, who will carry the memory of their grandfather’s kind spirit and joyous heart.

Bruce’s family was the cornerstone of his life, and he is lovingly remembered by his sister, Christie Miller of Daytona Beach, FL, and his brother, Shawn Keffer of Redmond, Oregon. Bruce was predeceased by his father, David Mallory, but his devotion to family lives on through his mother, Sue Cravens Myers of Ormond Beach, FL, and the numerous nieces and nephews who were fortunate to experience his unique presence in their lives.

Professionally, Bruce was a self-employed master painter who had an extraordinary talent for furniture restoration. His artistic abilities were not only his vocation but also his passion. He approached each project with a blend of precision and creativity, leaving a legacy of beauty in the homes of his clients and community.

Bruce’s interests were as diverse and rich as his personality. A lover of music, he could often be found strumming his guitar, the melodies a reflection of the harmony he cultivated in his life. An avid online gamer. His garden was a testament to his patience and connection to nature, a place where he found peace and solitude.

Known for his artistic flair, Bruce channeled his creativity into every aspect of his life. Whether it was the intricate details of a restored furniture piece or the careful cultivation of his garden, his artistic touch was unmistakable. His friends and family will remember him for his interesting character, a man who could find beauty in the mundane and turn the ordinary into something extraordinary.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home, Friday, April 19, 2024. Funeral services will held Friday, April 19, 2024 at Morgan’s Funeral Home at 1:00 PM. with Rev. Richie McKinney officiating.
