City Council Presented Several Department Reports Monday Night

At Monday night’s meeting, Princeton City Council received reports from the public works department, fire department, alcohol beverage control, and airport board.

In his report, Princeton Fire Chief Brent Francis expressed his gratitude to a local car dealership for providing firefighters with the opportunity to conduct training.

Public Works Director David Sullenger gave a quick update on the ongoing mowing season, which is currently in full swing.

In other reports, data from the Alcohol Beverage Control report shows 19 retailers with revenue totaling around $13,766 in February, resulting in a year-to-date revenue of approximately $28,068. Julie Poole mentioned that this amount is slightly lower compared to the same time last year.

Joiner also gave an update on the installation of cameras and the new hangar project at the Princeton-Caldwell County Airport.
