Emergency personnel and residents need to be aware that KY 1592/Webster Road in Caldwell County will be blocked for up to 90 days beginning Monday.
Officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said the closure at the 2.64 mile marker is to allow a contractor to demolish and replace the bridge over Towery Branch, a tributary of the Tradewater River located just east of Towery Bridge Road.
According to officials, there will be message boards in place to warn motorists that the bridge is closed but there will not be marked detour. They noted drivers can still use Government Bend Road and Towery Bridge Road to bypass the work zone.
