The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced lane restrictions will be in place on both the northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 69 in Caldwell County on Wednesday to allow crews to perform asphalt testing.
According to officials, traffic in both directions will be reduced to one lane from the Lyon County/Caldwell County line at mile marker 73.6 to the 78-mile marker, about two miles west of the KY 91 exit in Princeton, between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Motorists should be alert for one-lane traffic, with some delays possible during the movement and placement of equipment.
Drivers should use appropriate caution when equipment, flaggers, and personnel are along the road close to traffic flow.
