A Hopkinsville woman was arrested in Lyon County on Thursday after the sheriff’s department received a complaint of an attempted auto theft.
Sheriff Brent White said 29-year-old Destinee Perez had left the Days Inn Drive area and was located on US 62 near the I-24 exit. She was charged with attempted auto theft, disorderly conduct, theft from a motor vehicle, public intoxication, and giving officer’s false identifying information.
White said Perez had to be hospitalized due to her level of intoxication.
