Two Paducah residents were injured in a wreck on Interstate 69 in Caldwell County over the weekend.

According to Sheriff Don Weedman, Deputy Mac Englebright responded to a single-vehicle accident on I-69 at mile marker 83 on Saturday. He said the investigation revealed that an argument among the vehicle’s occupants distracted the driver, 26-year-old Unique Campbell, causing her to veer off the road into the median before re-entering the roadway and crossing both northbound lanes.

Campbell and her passenger, 33-year-old Robert Richardson, were transported to Caldwell Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
