The annual Western Kentucky Evangelism Conference was held Monday at Southside Baptist Church in Princeton.
This was the 40th anniversary of the conference sponsored by the Caldwell-Lyon Baptist Association. This one day program is set up with 3 individual sessions held throughout the day and has drawn some of the top gospel speakers and musicians in the nation over the years.
Local minister Ronnie Sivells was one of the preachers who began the conference 40 years ago and was on the program to preach again this year. He shared his memories of the conference over the years.
click to download audioSivells has served numerous churches in our area and also on staff at the Kentucky Baptist State Convention. He is a former Pastor of the host church for the conference, Southside and is currently Pastor at Blue Springs Baptist Church at the edge of Caldwell County. He feels the conference still serves needs in the area even after 40 years.

Kyle Noffsinger is the current Pastor of Southside and was glad to host the conference.
