Kentucky Cattlemen Association Spotlights Intern Whitney Peck of Fredonia

The Kentucky Cattlemen Association recently spotlighted Whitney Peck of Fredonia, who has served as the 2025 spring intern for the Kentucky Beef Council.

According to Association officials, Peck was raised on a cow-calf farm in the heart of Fredonia. They said she grew up involved in FFA and the Kentucky Junior Cattlemen’s Association, where she serves as vice president. Currently, Peck is a sophomore at the University of Kentucky majoring in animal sciences with a minor in agricultural economics. She serves as vice president of the Sigma Alpha, a Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment student ambassador, president of the Collegiate Cattlemen’s at the University of Kentucky and is also involved with Collegiate Farm Bureau.
