City Council Briefed on Package Store Increase, Code Enforcement Actions

Princeton Code Enforcement Officer Alan Getz provided an update to City Council Monday night on the package store increase request and various code enforcement issues currently being addressed.

According to Getz, the state will approve the City’s request for an increase of package stores once their process is complete.

click to download audioThey are also investigating a squatter issue at a residence on North Jefferson Street.

click to download audioGetz stated that he is awaiting a Deed of Conveyance for the building located at 134 East Main Street.

click to download audioGetz also noted that with the arrival of mowing season, they anticipate becoming busier and receiving a significant number of calls.

click to download audioHe also reported that approximately five or six cars and a camper were towed over the weekend after ramping up that program again. Getz said he has been actively inspecting vehicles to ensure they are properly registered, roadworthy, and not abandoned on the roadside.
