
A Princeton man was arrested on multiple drug possession charges after a traffic stop on US 62 West on Thursday.
According to Caldwell County Sheriff Don Weedman, a deputy stopped a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Brandon Brasher after observing it exit Baldwin Avenue onto US 62 West without headlights or taillights illuminated.
After a further investigation, he says Brasher was taken into custody and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance – drug unspecified, possession of a controlled substance – hallucinogen, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Princeton Police Department.
