
The Caldwell County Grand Jury returned eleven felony indictments from its May session, including charges of wanton endangerment, burglary, drug trafficking, and incest.
A true bill was returned on Kyron Cain, of Princeton, on multiple charges including first-degree fleeing or evading police, third-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, and first-degree persistent felony offender.
Cain was arrested in February following a pursuit with the Princeton Police Department after officers attempted to make a traffic stop in the vicinity of Linton Way and Green Street for multiple warrants. Police said Cain led them on a short vehicle chase before abandoning the car and running into a residence in the 800 block of Mechanic Street. He was taken into custody after he was found in the residence hiding behind a washer and dryer.
Three separate indictments were issued on Kelly Hamby of Eddyville, and Terry McCoy and Cody Wright, both of Princeton, each charged with one count of second-degree complicity to burglary. Additionally, Hamby was indicted on a charge of first-degree persistent felony offender.
The charges are from March when Princeton Police were sent to a burglary in progress at 209 South Jefferson Street, and the trio was observed taking items from the residence.
In a separate indictment, Wright is accused of incest that occurred in October 2024 and was investigated by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department.
The grand jury indicted Natasha Felkins of Princeton on a charge of theft by unlawful taking over $1,000, related to an incident that occurred between February 1 and November 11, 2024. The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office investigated the case.
A true bill was returned on Bobby Ray Cain, of Princeton, on a single count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The charges stem from March when officers responded to a disturbance at the Stratton Inn, and Cain was arrested on an active McCracken County Bench Warrant for a probation violation for a felony offense. During the arrest, officers said they found a makeshift drug kit containing a glass pipe with residue, a straw with residue, and a plastic baggie of suspected meth.
Branden Cain Allen, of Reynolds Station, was indicted on charges of trafficking marijuana and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine. Both charges are firearm-enhanced.
The charges are from February from an investigation by the Kentucky State Police’s Drug Enforcement and Special Investigations West Division.
Randall Williams of Dawson Springs was indicted on charges of trafficking marijuana and second-degree possession of a controlled substance – mushrooms. The charges are from February from an investigation by the Kentucky State Police’s Drug Enforcement and Special Investigations West Division.
Separate indictments were issued for Bruce Moore of Princeton and Mark Keene of Hopkinsville, each charged with possession of marijuana and first-degree complicity to possess a controlled substance—methamphetamine. Additionally, Moore faces charges of tampering with physical evidence, DUI, and other misdemeanor offenses. The charge of tampering with physical evidence against Keene was dismissed after a no true bill was returned.
The charges are from January when Princeton Police investigated a non-injury accident in the 1400 block of Hopkinsville Road and reportedly found Moore and Keene in possession of meth and marijuana.
A no true bill was returned on Ryan Hensley on a charge of disregarding a stop sign, which was dismissed.
