A Kuttawa man was charged with DUI after being injured in a single-vehicle wreck in Lyon County over the weekend.
Lyon County Sheriff Brent White says deputies responded to the collision on Poplar Creek Road around 7:00 p.m. Saturday.
He says the investigation determined 60-year-old John Seay was southbound on Poplar Creek Road when he lost control of his vehicle, ran of the road, and collided with a tree.
According to deputies, Seay was transported to Mercy Lourdes Hospital in Paducah for evaluation of his injuries.
Sheriff White says Seay was later charged with DUI-first offense, failure to wear a seatbelt, and no insurance.
