During the dedication ceremony for the newly placed historic marker in the City of Fredonia, two members of the Fredonia Valley Historical Society shared some of their research and stories they had personally heard about the Night Riders and their activities dealing with the Fredonia Community.
Rick Morgan and Nicky Baker were both a part of the program and reminded those attending how important the tobacco industry was to residents of Fredonia and how the Night Riders made history in the community.
Morgan shared a story about A.H. Cardin, who is mentioned on the actual marker.

Morgan shared another story about a farmer whom the Night Riders did find at home.
