Linda F. Patterson Duncan, age 82, of Princeton, KY, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Baptist Health of Paducah.
Linda was born on April 18, 1943, in Caldwell County to the late Joseph “Joe” Love Patterson and Mary Elizabeth Goodwin Patterson. Linda served her Lord diligently within her beloved church of Calvary Baptist in Princeton. Whether it be singing in the choir or working with kids, Linda was always happy to use her gifts for the Lord. Linda’s love for service extended into her own hom,e where she was a caring foster parent for many children. Her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was evident in her life. Linda will be missed by many but the impression of love she leaves behind will go on forever.
Survivors include her daughter, Melinda “Mindy” Denny of Mansfield, TX; son, Donald Wayne Tyrie of Princeton; brother, Danny (Patricia) Patterson of Hopkinsville, KY; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; special friends, Sue Knight and Brenda Mason.
In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ashley Tyrie; great-grandson, James Brayden Robinson; sister, Mary Ann Patterson; and brother, Jerry Wayne Patterson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Bro. John Hagan and Bro. Lester Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton.
