Two Kuttawa residents were arrested on multiple drug charges Monday after an investigation into suspicious activity at an Eddyville convenience store involving juvenile girls

Lyon County Sheriff Brent White said deputies received a call about a man in a Jeep Cherokee at the Eddyville Five Star convenience store who tried to lure three juvenile girls with alcoholic beverages to return to his RV for a party. The man reportedly left the scene in the Jeep after a friend of the girls confronted him.

According to Sheriff White, deputies and Kentucky State Police identified the suspect after he called 9-1-1, claiming to be a victim in the Fivestar incident. He stated that the investigation revealed that 32-year-old Aaron Stuart of Kuttawa was under the supervision of Kentucky Probation and Parole for an out-of-state felony conviction, and his conduct had been reported to those officers.

Later that evening, troopers and deputies assisted Probation and Parole officers with a home visit, where Stuart and 39-year-old Megan Teeters of Kuttawa were both arrested and charged with possession of meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Sheriff White stated that Stuart remains under investigation in connection with the Eddyville Fivestar incident involving the juvenile girls and a similar incident at a Kuttawa business on May 31. He said additional charges are pending.
