The Caldwell County Special Olympics competed in the State Track and Field Contest in Richmond Kentucky over the weekend and came home with various metals and ribbons.
The contest was held on the Eastern Kentucky University campus with contestants from across the state competing in several contest. Caldwell County Coach Roy Gene Rogers shared it was a full weekend of competition and fun for those attending beginning when they arrived on Friday afternoon.
