Caldwell Fiscal Court Discusses Project Funding-Tire Amnesty

The Caldwell County Fiscal Court met in regular session Tuesday morning in the small courtroom inside the Caldwell County Courthouse.

The court also had scheduled a public hearing to be held at 8:45 am in the same location to give the public a chance to give their input on a couple of funding projects with no comments made from the public. County Judge Executive Dakota Young explained the public hearings.

click to download audioAt 9:00 am the regular meeting of the court was called to order followed by the pledge to the flag and opening prayer. Roll call was made with all court members present. During his opening comments Judge Young announced an upcoming program for county residents.

for reimbursement to the state.

click to download audioDuring new business the court discussed bids for the county road department supplies for the upcoming year. County Road Supervisor David Waldrum made his recommendation and upon that recommendation Judge Young read the bids and they were approved.

click to download audioThe court also approved the recommendation by Judge Young and Road Supervisor Waldrum to hire three new employees for the road department and Young said they were already at work.
