Kena Dannette Hook, passed away at the age of 50 on the June 8, 2025, in Eddyville, KY.
She was born on October 26, 1974, in Tell City, Indiana to the late Thomas Roy Hook and Shelia Kay Wilson Hook. Kena worked as a waitress all her life. Her job cultivated her enjoyment of being around people and an appreciation of good food. When not working, Kena loved being around the water and was at home on the beach or at the lake. Also she enjoyed skating, spending quality time with family, friends and dancing to good music. She loved the company of her beloved dog, Marley.
Survivors include brothers Tony (Clara) Hook of Owensboro, KY and Gary (Jessi) Hook of Nashville TN; aunts, Nita Nix, Francie Watts, Carrie Belle Hook, Becky Hook, Jean Hook; uncles, Ron Yates, Eugene Hook, Eddie Hook; nephews, Jacob Hook, Quest Hook, Benjamin Hook.
In addition to her parents, Kena is preceded in death by her nephew, Tyler Hook.
No local services are scheduled at this time. Burial will be held at a later date in St. Mary's of the Woods Cemetery in Whitesville, KY
