Carol McIntosh, age 87, of Princeton, passed away June 16, 2025, at Lakeway Nursing and Rehabilitation in Benton, KY.
Carol was born October 3, 1937, in Chicago, IL to the late Bruno and Lydia Drangmeister. She was of the Lutheran Faith. Carol worked briefly at the Caldwell County Senior Citizen Center and babysat many children in Caldwell County. She enjoyed watching Nascar in her spare time. Carol was a nurturing soul and her greatest passion was the love she had for her family.
She is survived by daughters, Cindy (Jim) Rogers of Princeton and Kathleen (Randall) McClellan of Calvert City; son, Leatus “Lee” (Vicki) McIntosh of Eddyville; sister, Sue Gluth of Renselaer, IN; brothers, Albert Drangmeister of Kentland, IN, Robert Drangmeister of Demonte, IN, Kenneth Drangmeister of Crown Point, IN; grandchildren, Chandra Thorpe Morris, Timothy Martin, Ryan Thorpe and Justin McIntosh; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Martin, Timmy Martin, Braydon Kirk, Berkley Thorpe, Ora Lee McIntosh and Jo McIntosh.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leatus “Pete” McIntosh; daughter, Rhonda Earl; brothers, Eugene Drangmeister and James Drangmeister; and sisters, Donna Davis and Judy Hess.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Pastor Colleen Winkler officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
