Caldwell County Magistrates Advance Infrastructure Projects

Caldwell County magistrates focused on major infrastructure improvements at their recent meeting.

During new business, Caldwell County Water District General Manager Cody Kirby briefed magistrates on an upgrade project for the Dalton Hill Pump Station, describing it as a significant benefit for the county.

Magistrates approved $109,000 for the project.

In other business, magistrates authorized Judge Young to sign a Memorandum of Agreement with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet for resurfacing Rocksprings Road and Pleasant Valley Road under the County Priority Project Program

click to download audioThe Fiscal Court also approved a joint resolution with the City of Princeton to serve as cosigners for financing secured by the Princeton-Caldwell County Industrial Development Authority for constructing Industrial Building #4—a 100,200 square foot facility, expandable to 200,400 square feet, marking the first new construction in the industrial park since 1998. Ground was broken at the site in May.
