The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced that the closure of KY 818 between U.S. 62 and Dulaney Road in Lyon County will be extended until about Friday, August 1.
State transportation officials report that crews are replacing a large pipe on KY 818 at mile point 6. Although the project was initially expected to take five days, officials have stated that additional utility work is now required, resulting in an extended timeline.
There is no marked detour.
