Lyon County has received a $150,000 grant from the Delta Regional Authority’s Strategic Planning Program.
The announcement came from the Pennyrile Area Development District, with officials saying the funds will support a feasibility study on regionalizing water and water systems. The investment aims to strengthen service delivery, ensure financial stability, and pave the way for lasting economic growth in the area.
This funding is part of a $1.5 million initiative from the Delta Regional Authority, benefiting 13 communities. The goal is to enhance local infrastructure and create opportunities for development throughout the region.
