Caldwell County DAR Chapter Preparing for America’s 250th Birthday

The local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is already making preparations to mark the nation’s 250th birthday next July with a series of special events and commemorations.

Carolyn Traum, who spoke at the Princeton Rotary Club last week, explained that the Daughters of the American Revolution are committed to patriotism, education, and historic preservation, and were among the organizations involved when a national committee was formed in 2016 to begin planning for the nation’s 250th celebration.

She shared that the local DAR Chapter has requested “The American Revolution Experience,” a traveling exhibit from the American Battlefield Trust, that would be displayed at the Princeton Art Guild.
