Officials from the Princeton Art Guild have announced changes to this year’s Art on Main event during the Black Patch Festival that are designed to better align with their mission and meet the needs of the community.

This year, Art Guild officials said they are reimagining the festival experience by moving away from traditional vendor booths. Instead, they said festival-goers can look forward to hands-on art activities, vibrant public programming, and new ways to connect as a community. Officials believe these fresh offerings will inspire greater participation, spark meaningful connections, and create lasting memories for everyone involved. During the festivities, they said efforts will also be underway to raise support for expanded arts access and educational opportunities across the region.

According to officials, vendor applications for the Black Patch Festival will now be handled directly by the Black Patch Festival Committee. This includes sign-ups for artists and makers. Officials say the new process will make things simpler for everyone and help all vendors fit seamlessly into the festival’s coordinated footprint.

Art Guild officials said the new approach is a full collaborative effort with the Optimist Club, and they are honored to continue as a partner in the Black Patch Festival’s ongoing success. They emphasized that both groups are working together to serve their missions and, most importantly, benefit the people of Caldwell County.
