Three Arrested in Connection to February Shooting in Mexico Community

Three people were arrested last week in connection with a February shooting in Crittenden County.

On Monday, Lyon County Sheriff Brent White reported that 47-year-old Travis Robinson of Fredonia was taken into custody by a deputy and Kentucky State Police trooper around 12:45 Wednesday morning in Kuttawa. He said around 8:40 Wednesday morning, 40-year-old Chase York of Marion was arrested by members of the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office, and the Western Kentucky Violent Crime Task Force, while he was in Lyon County.

According to Sheriff White, both men were charged in connection with a shooting investigation that began in February in the Mexico community of Crittenden County.

Robinson and York were both charged with criminal conspiracy to commit murder, possession of a handgun by a convicted felony, tampering with physical evidence, and persistent felony offender.

In addition, Sheriff White reported 25-year-old Allison Robinson of Marion was arrested later by Crittenden County Sheriff Evan Head and charged with criminal conspiracy to commit murder.

All three subjects were lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
